EXCLUSIVE: Heeramandi actor Taha Shah Badussha reveals Tajdar is a mix of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s loverboy characters

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heermandi star Taha Shah Badussha has been receiving immense love for his portrayal of Tajdar. His charming looks have made him the internet’s newest crush and we can’t agree more. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood, the actor Taha Shah recalls best compliment he received for Heeramandi and how people are comparing him to Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

When asked Taha about the best compliment he received so far for his portrayal in Heeramandi, he recalls, “It’s majorly been from fans. A lot of people from around the globe have said that the romance in your eyes remind us of Shah Rukh Khan.”

We further chimed in and asked Taha if he felt the role of Tajdar was similar to Salman Khan’s Prem character. To this, the actor remarks, “I think sir wrote my character with a mix of both his characters from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. And a little bit of his self as well because many times he’s like this is what I would do if I was there. So I think it’s a mix. And who doesn’t want to be compared to Salman and Shah Rukh. But I think my character Tajdar is like Prem. And Shah Rukh sir is my idol. And nobody can emote like the way he does.”

He plays the love interest of Sharmin Segal’s Alamzeb, a tawaif from Shahi Mahal. How he sacrifices his life for love and nation is what makes everyone fall in love with his character.
